Who May Live on Your Holy Mountain

                                                Psalm 15

                                                New International Version (NIV)

                                                            A psalm of David.

1 Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
Who may live on your holy mountain?
2 The one whose walk is blameless,
    who does what is righteous,
    who speaks the truth from their heart;
3 whose tongue utters no slander,
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
    and casts no slur on others;
4 who despises a vile person
    but honors those who fear the Lord;
who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
    and does not change their mind;
5 who lends money to the poor without interest;
who does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
Whoever does these things
    will never be shaken

The lord's Prayer

The lord's Prayer

As he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray...And he said unto them
                             (Luke 11:1-2 Kjv)
..."In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."(Matthew 6:9-13 NKJV).

This lords Prayer, is really a disciples prayer given by the Lord Himself to His disciples. It has seven parts worthy of closer attention.
Pt 1, Jesus said "our Father." By telling Hid disciples to pray to our Father , Jesus is elevating the believers to a position of Sonship and adoption into a heavenly kingdom as Sons rather than the hired servants or angels.
Pt 2, "On earth as it is in heaven," nothing can stand against God's will except man's so called free will. Pray for God's will on earth including mankind who is formed from the dust of the earth. For it is God's will that all be saved.
Pt 3, Daily Bread, "How is it in heaven all are saved but here on earth some are dying? It is this daily bread of life aka Spiritual food which comes down from heaven. We do not live by bread alone but we can live on God's daily bread.
Pt 4, Forgiveness is a the heart of Christianity. Many books can and will be written on forgiveness, because once someone receives the joy of being forgiven, they naturally want to share it with others.
Pt 5, "Lead us," It may seem odd asking God not to lead us into temptation. Jesus was tempted in the wilderness same as us except for one glaring difference. Jesus is perfect and we are not. But God is perfecting us and will lead us in the "Way" on a daily basis.
Pt 6,  "deliver us" from evil, is twofold, we are drawn away by our own lusts we feed on, as well as outside forces that seem to feed on us. God's deliverance will free us from ourselves and this worlds temptations so we become Overcomers. At the Red Sea a song of praise and deliverance erupted spontaneously after seeing God's power of deliverance.
Pt 7, It is God's Kingdom, We Christians recognize it is God's power we tap into not our own will. And God's power reveals to us God's Kingdom in all it's glory.

“Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life"
 John 6:27a.

The Male/Female image is a Spiritual reality passed onto humans.

The Male/Female image is a Spiritual reality passed onto humans. We are the image not the Original. Animals are not the image of God though they are male and female also.
The word for man means all mankind. But not the word for "male." Male is also the word for husband and the word for female also means wife. The Church is a Bride, representing the female subjective side of man that trusts and submits to Christ, THE Husband.

..."In short review, the male nature is the OBJECTIVE truth aspect and the source of life. It does not have emotion or feelings. It deals with the truth and is simply the cold hard facts. The female nature is the SUBJECTIVE aspect, and is designed to bring forth all the beauty, emotion, feelings, and expression of what the male nature provides objectively. But since the female is not the source, she is helpless and lost without the male. Likewise the male is alone and has no means of expression without the female (see 1 Cor 11:11). The two aspects are incomplete without one another.
God designed Adam to be the covering and protector of Eve. He failed dramatically when the serpent deceived the woman and she and the snake were alone together (the male Adam was not present at the time Eve committed spiritual fornication with the serpent). And he sinned even greater when he willfully partook of the forbidden fruit after his wife handed it to him. He then turned and blamed the woman (his own subjective nature) for the sin.
The male nature, which is supposed to represent objective truth, becomes totally corrupt when it loses its morally objective compass and rules in disobedience to God. This comes about and happens when the male is seduced by the female/subjective aspect of his persona.
Again, we must always keep in mind the fact that all of this Adam/Eve stuff in the Bible is designed to convey eternal truths. It goes way beyond just historical events.

God destroys Adam

Now the fundamental and conclusive fact of absolute importance related to this whole thing to do with Adam and Eve and the angels, is the following.
God has completely destroyed the old man Adam. He is finished with him forever. The literal Adam and what he represents no longer exists in any context. Adam the male is now toast.
Because of the fall and rebellion in heaven, the male aspect of Adam himself has been thoroughly and completely annihilated. The only thing that is left (symbolically of course) is the woman or the subjective aspect of the persona. She is now alone and wandering in the spiritual wilderness of this world, yet is divinely protected by God for a period of time from the serpent (see Revelation chapter 12). She represents the female/subjective aspect of the angels who fell and who are now without a male covering of knowledge and truth. And that is who God is going to save and have mercy upon—the woman. But only the woman matters to God at this point.
"For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety" (1 Tim 2:13,14).
Adam was not deceived, but the woman was. This fact is absolutely paramount. The male/objective nature knew better and sinned willfully. So God has finally put to death our old Adamic nature which was rooted in Adam's willful rebellion. But the subjective female nature, God will somehow restore and regenerate and keep. Yet that redemption process takes place through "childbearing" (people being born into this world). In numerous Bible verses Adam is referred to as "the old man."
"Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin" (Rom 6:6).
The good news in all of this is that the old male lion has ultimately been replaced by Jesus the virgin born man child, who is now the NEW ADAM—who came directly from God the Father in heaven, as the ONLY legitimate begotten Son, and is now the ONLY objective source of truth. He is now the husband of the virgin bride of Christ, i.e. the Church—see Rev 12:5,13). Look at the tremendous depth of meaning in the following verses.
"And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven" (1 Cor 15:45,47).
And here it mentions the birth of this "Lord from heaven."
"And she brought forth a man child (Jesus), who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne" (Rev 12:5).
And here now is the result of Christ ascending to heaven.
"And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the Church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all" (Eph 1:22,23).

What makes a marriage work?

A Minister once said, "if you murdered somebody and gave your life to Christ, all the churches would treat you like a celebrity, but if you had a divorce you can get banned from ministry altogether. Something not right there, especially since 3 quarters of our adult society above 25 yrs old has been divorced."
And the Statistics are just as bad for Christians. Because 55% of marriages end in divorce, while another 20-25% are still married unhappily and just "What is it that makes a marriage work?" Or better yet how did God design it to be when two young people fall in love and bear fruit after their own kind.
"In all the Hebrew scriptures there is no single word for the estate of marriage, or to express the abstract idea of marriage." (Unger's Bible Dictionary).
But the human bonding was designed by God to male and female.
Check out the following true story from the Book, "BONDING Relationships in the image of God." by Dr. Donald Joy, Phd.

In 1964 Karen Waterfill and Roger Caldwell became instant sweethearts. She was 13, and he was 16. They met in the church choir. Roger was a good boy, a good worker, and soon started working on the Waterfill farm. They were leaders in their class at school, and in the fall of 1965 Roger went to the University of Kentucky. About February 1966 Karen confided in her mother that she was pregnant. Karen's father cried. Her mom went into high gear; arranged for Karen to go to a home for unwed girls; made up a story about Karen going on a tour with a traveling singing group; made contact with Roger and forbade him to contact Karen, and did not disclose Karen's whereabouts. She intercepted all phone calls and mail, and Karen felt that Roger had abandoned her. September 11, 1966, Karen gave birth to a baby boy, which she gave up for adoption.

Things stood that way until June 4, 1991 (24 years later) when a telephone call from Frankfort's Human Resources office informed Karen that a young man had initiated a formal inquiry into the birth of a baby boy on September 11, 1966.

Now 24 years later, her father dead from a motor vehicle accident, her mother dead of cancer, two marriages ended in divorce, a third ready to fold, Karen had been unable to forget Roger. She always took September 11 off in remembrance of that "dark day" she gave birth to the son that she gave away. Karen agreed to meet the young man, and through information in the records she was able to make contact with Roger. After 24 years, she learned about Roger's silence. Roger ended their conversation by saying, "Karen, you are the only woman I have ever loved." As time passed and Roger never heard from Karen, he thought she didn't want to talk with him. He later got married and dropped out of school because he couldn't think straight. A son had been killed in an auto accident, his daughter had gotten married, and he had divorced.

A four-hour reunion on June 14 led them to a meeting two weeks later with a young man and his wife Mark Kitts and his wife, Dee Dee, were expecting their first baby. For the next five hours they caught up on the years between.

On August 3, 1991, in a church garden, the pastor said, "Twenty-four years ago you became my father and my mother. Today it is only right that I am the one to announce that you finally are recognized as husband and wife. Mark Kitts married Karen and Roger."

What is marriage? We may not be able to define a good marriage, but we should certainly know one when we see it.
And We are wise to note the positives of marriage rather than the negatives of divorce. Because marriage was meant to be a celebration of love.

"I hate divorce" is more accurately translated "he who hates and puts away." And gives more meaning to a description of hardness of heart.

"I hate divorce" is more accurately translated "he who hates and puts away." And gives more meaning to a description of hardness of heart.

They asked Jesus about a point of Law from Moses.
Why did Moses command a witting of divorce?
It is Because some husbands will "chain wives" with the hardness of their hearts.

A Biblical divorce (Deut.24:1-4) required two things, separation and an official divorce certificate or get. Because without a certificate of divorce the husband can always come back and claim her as his property seeking a profit.
Google "Agunah" to see this has always been a legitimate concern.

"Agunah (Hebrew) literally 'anchored or chained') is a halachic term for a Jewish woman who is "chained" to her marriage. It is also often used nowadays for a woman whose husband refuses or is unable to grant her an official bill of divorce, known as a get.
For a divorce to be effective, Jewish law requires that a man grant his wife a get of his own free will. Without a get or a heter aguna (permission by a halachic authority based on a decision that her husband is presumed dead) no new marriage will be recognized, and any children she might have with another man would be considered illegitimate.
Because of the difficulty of the situation for women in such situations, it has been a task for every generation of Jewish authorities to try to find halachically acceptable means to permit such women to remarry.

In the past, most aguna cases were due to a husband dying without leaving clear evidence of his demise, or becoming mentally ill (insane). Nowadays many aguna cases arise as a result of a husband withholding a get in order to extort money or extract a more favorable divorce settlement or to get even with his wife. Therefore, this "Law of the husband" would become an abusive hardness of heart.
'For the woman that hath a husband is bound by law to the husband while he liveth; but if the husband die, she is discharged from the law of the husband." (Rom.7:2).

"Malachi 2:16 and Hardness of heart..
"The man that "hates and puts away" suggests hardness of heart from the DSS discovered in the 1950's also verifies other ancient manuscripts that contradict the Mosaic (KJV) text. The KJV is based on the Mosaic text. In other words the Dead Sea Scrolls, hidden in caves in 70 ad, is of the same scrolls/bible Jesus used in Nazareth when He stood and quoted Isaiah, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me." The following compares the Mosaic text with the LXX.

"Malachi 2:16.

Masoretic Text: For he hated [when] dismissing [her], said YHWH the God of Israel, and he covered his garment with violence, said YHWH of hosts. And you should guard your spirit and not deal treacherously.

Septuagint: But, if hating, you should dismiss [her], says the Lord, the God of Israel, then ungodliness will cover your thoughts, says the Lord Almighty. And you must guard your spirit, and by no means forsake [your wife].

The rendering “I hate” found in many modern translations is based on an emendation of the Hebrew, literally reading “he hated.” The partially preserved Dead Sea Scroll text can be translated to read, “For if you hate and divorce.”
The Greek, in the Septuagint, could be rendered, “But if out of hatred you should divorce.” Likely, therefore, the censure is directed against those who manifested a hateful attitude toward their wives and, for no valid reason, divorced them. This basic thought is conveyed in commonly used French and German translations. Examples in German are: "Whoever is grievous to her and dismisses her, says the LORD, the God of Israel, covers his garment with iniquity," (Luther, 1984 edition). "If someone dismisses his wife out of antipathy, [says the Lord, Israel’s God,] then he sullies himself with a violent deed," (Einheitsübersetzung).

When answering a question about divorce, Jesus Christ pointed out the arrangement set forth in the Mosaic Law was a concession. It served to protect the woman from the kind of hateful abuse that would have resulted if divorce had not been permitted. (Matthew 19:3-10) Therefore, if the emendation “I hate divorce” is representative of the original text (though the evidence appears to point to the contrary), it should evidently be understood in the context of the kind of divorcing being censured. It could not mean that YHWH detested the provision about divorce included in his law.

Divine disapproval rested on the man who, out of hatred, callously dismissed or divorced his wife. Instead of using his garment protectively, such a man covered it with violence, depriving his wife of her home and family by divorcing her without valid reason. (Compare Ruth 3:4; Ezekiel 16:8.) The Israelite men generally are again admonished to guard their spirit, resisting the development of a hateful desire that would lead to treacherous action, that is, divorcing their wives.

If this be the case the translation "I hate divorce" is more accurately translated "he who hates and puts away his wife." And gives more meaning to a description of hardness of heart.

Scripture & Wisdom

“Pride says I deserve more. Poverty says I should be poor. God says I love you more so I give you all things to enjoy.”

“Greatness is not found in possessions, power, position or prestige. It is only found in goodness, humility, service and character. What are you chasing?

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. ~ The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Ps 51:17; Ps 34:18

“And though I …understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:2

Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.' Matthew 7:22-23.

Turn to me and have mercy, for I am alone and in deep distress. PSALM 25:16

You are a by product of your chosen reality and the decisions you make within it.’ WWW
